Brad Hards says he’ll be fine: Sunraysia skipper expects to be ready for Central Murray

SUNRAYSIA interleague captain Brad Hards expects to be fit for the representative match against Central Murray Football Netball League in Swan Hill this weekend after shaking off an injury concern.

The Imperials co-coach played with a heavily strapped right leg in his side’s 21-point win over South Mildura on Saturday after suffering a groin strain the previous weekend.

Hards did not train last week apart from light jogging and underwent a fitness test Friday evening, but was confident the complaint was behind him.

“I had a bit of a niggle,” Hards said.
