Mark Jamar set to pounce

OUYEN United are hoping former AFL ruckman Mark Jamar may be able to debut for the club in their first SFNL home game this weekend.

The former All-Australian Melbourne and Essendon ruckman could line up for the first time with his new club on Saturday against Robinvale-Euston at Blackburn Park, however Kangas co-coach Luke Nathan said nothing was fully locked in.

“We’re certainly hoping (round 2) for Mark,” Nathan said.

“It’s a bit of a wait-and-see as far as we haven’t locked in any certainties yet.
