IT may have been a practice match, but Red Cliffs weren’t taking their pre-season carnival game against Ouyen United lightly.
A very different Tigers outfit will line up for their season opener against Irymple this weekend, but the makeshift team that accounted for a young Ouyen United side by 24 points at George Gordon Oval was there to win.
Red Cliffs went in wanting to establish winning form and explore their depth, and recruited playing co-coach Brian Fenton liked what he saw.
