MERBEIN Football Netball Club has issued a call to arms as it looks to save its under 14s team from folding.
The Magpies have only six to eight players in that age group after a host of players moved on, and the club now faces a race against time to have a team ready for round 1 on April 14.
“I’ve had no more than seven at training since we started,” coach Darryl Carmes said.
“We’ve been training for about four weeks.
