Merbein Football Netball Club sees silver lining

MERBEIN Football Netball Club (MFNC) says a project to clean up the damaged Kenny Park changerooms must commence by mid-May if there’s any hope to have them usable by the 2019 football season. 

But in good news for the club, construction has started on a second netball court at Kenny Park, a project that has been five years in the making. 

“With the family days now – all junior and senior football and netball played on the one day – you’ve got to have two ovals and two netball courts,” MFNC president Toney Hurley said.
