HEARING your name called out on AFL draft night is indescribable, Lochie O’Brien says.
South Mildura product O’Brien was yesterday still getting his head around being taken at pick 10 by Carlton in Friday’s draft, joining close mate, Bendigo Pioneers teammate and No.3 selection Paddy Dow at the Blues.
“You can’t really describe it,” O’Brien said before flying to Melbourne late yesterday.
“Everything you’ve worked towards the past three years comes to reality.
