REIGNING AFL Rising Star winner and 2016 No.1 draft pick Andy McGrath believes Sunraysia product and Essendon teammate Kobe Mutch is not far off senior action with the Bombers.
Half-back flanker McGrath said his fellow young gun and Essendon’s 2017 VFL best and fairest runner-up Mutch, 19, had impressed this week in the club’s first to fourth-year players’ return to training.
“Kobe looks really fit this year,” McGrath said. “I think a debut is on the way for him.”
