Ouyen United’s reveal coaching plan: Duo link up to lead

OUYEN United’s coaches are locked in, with Andy Jardine to shelve retirement plans and link up with former SANFL veteran Luke Nathan in the top job at the Kangas.

The club’s SFNL inaugural coach along with former West Coast Eagle and Walpeup-

Underbool star Kane Munro, 2016 premiership coach Jardine had stepped down from the role following the 2017 grand final­ loss to Irymple, but Kangas ­president Tony Keely said club officials had been able to change his mind.

Working with a joint coach again – after being sole coach this year – and a burning desire to make up for a grand ­final loss are understood to have helped sway Jardine to continue.
