Footy future looks golden for Eaton

IRYMPLE and Sunraysia football champion Brad Eaton will continue his decorated career at Bendigo club Golden Square next season.

The 2017 Swallows captain and former coach, 34, recently moved to the region with his family after winning the 2017 SFNL senior premiership with Irymple.

Eaton’s friendship with former ­Bendigo Pioneers teammate Simon Rosa reportedly led to him signing with ­Golden Square.

“We are thrilled to get Brad because he brings a lot of leadership to the club, which is what we need with the young group we have,’’ Golden Square football operations manager Shawn McCormick told the Bendigo Advertiser.
