Lochie’s O’Brien stocks rise

LOCHIE O’Brien did his AFL draft stock no harm with a classy display for Team Harvey in their 55-point over Team Enright in the under 18 All Stars clash at the MCG on Saturday.

The South Mildura product had one of his best games of the year with 24 disposals and a goal after spending more time in attack in the second half of the curtain-raiser to the Richmond and Adelaide premiership decider, with his side finishing well on top, 17.8 (110) to 8.7 (55).

It was Jaidyn Stephenson’s day, though, as the Eastern Ranges’ product kicked three goals from 22 possessions in a scintillating display through the midfield and in attack for the victors.
