SUNRAYSIA will push for Richmond’s historic AFL premiership cup to make its way to the region as celebrations continue for the Tiger Army.
After their beloved club claimed its first flag since 1980 with a 48-point demolition of Adelaide at the MCG on Saturday, Richmond fans are hungry to get a piece of the celebratory action.
Sunraysia Tigers Richmond Supporter Group president Andrew Black signalled informal discussions with Richmond’s club relationship manager, Tigers’ Hall of Famer and former Imperials footballer Dale Weightman had already taken place amid the euphoria of a premiership win.
