Farrer a sure final starter

DUAL Bland Medal winner Will Farrer is all but certain to line up for Ouyen United in Saturday’s SFNL grand final.

Just over a month after breaking his hand against Wentworth in round 17, Farrer has been declared fit by Kangas coach Andy Jardine going into Saturday’s clash with Irymple at City Oval.

“He would have been available last weekend had we played,” Jardine said.

“He’s all good. Everything went well with his recovery and all that and he’s been training for a few weeks with Southern Districts (in Darwin).”
