More signings are expected to follow Meningie midfielder Brian Fenton to Quandong Park, as several current Tigers recommit to the club.
Red Cliffs this week announced the re-signings of versatile 193-game veteran Chris Lee and 2015 John Groves medallist Beau Riordan, both of whom were co-captains this season.
The other co-captain, Joey Cua, along with stars Warwick Williams and Jonty Marciano, also recently recommitted to the club for 2018.
Coach Ashley Connick said a big signing like Fenton had a “flow-on effect” with recruiting, with the club in discussions with several former Sunraysia residents.
