THEY were direct opponents during the season, but Wentworth attacker Mikaela Fraser and Mildura defender Monique Sefton shared the 2017 Horkings Medal honours.
Both players polled multiple votes in the final round to finish with 24 each in the SFNL A Grade netball best and fairest count on Wednesday night.
For Fraser, the medal was a memorable way to end her time at the club before making a move to Melbourne.
