ST KILDA will continue to be “also-rans” if they do not bolster their midfield, according to VFL-AFL great Stan Alves.
Alves, who visited Mildura last week, said while kicking for goal cost the Saints dearly this season, a lack of depth and talent in the midfield was a pressing concern.
“There’s got to be some emergence and there’s got to be some extra talent (in the midfield),” Alves said.
