Glory bound: Ouyen United boss says last year’s success was no flash-in-pan

OUYEN United president Jarrod Munro says whatever the result of the season, his club has shown 2016 was no anomaly.

The Kangas have three teams in SFNL grand finals on September 16, with the senior football, reserves football and C reserves netball all winning their second semi-finals on Saturday.

In the seniors, the Kangas made a rousing comeback to knock off Mildura by six points and in the reserves they beat a more fancied Irymple by 22 points on the back of a six-goal haul from former high AFL pick Laurie Angwin.
