SIX Sunraysia footballers will run out for the Bendigo Pioneers in the club’s final hitout of the TAC Cup season tomorrow at Mars Stadium in Ballarat.
Former Wentworth player and reigning McLeod medallist Derek Eggmolesse-Smith, listed with Richmond in the VFL, touted high AFL picks Lochie O’Brien (South Mildura) and Jarrod Brander (Wentworth), Lewin Davis (Mildura), Inji Fyfe (Wentworth) and Daine Grace (South Mildura) will don Pioneers colours in round 18 of the top AFL under 18s competition.
The Pioneers, under coach Rick Coburn, are guaranteed the wooden spoon with just three wins for the season to date, one of those coming in round 2 against the Rebels, and have had nine losses in a row.
