SUNRAYSIA netball history will be made today, with Merbein to contest an A Grade final for the first time in its history against Mildura.
Merbein president Toney Hurley was thrilled to see the team doing what no other had in 25 years of netball at the club.
“It’s a sensational effort,” Hurley said.
“We’ve got a wonderful group of girls who’ve worked hard and they will always be remembered as the history-making side.”
Hurley credited A Grade coach Chloe Lewis for her integral role.
