WINS and losses make or break premiership races, but in seasons of rebuilding, success is less clearly defined.
South Mildura, by its own admission, entered the latter phase at the beginning of the year after a tumultuous off-season that saw more than 20 recognised senior players – and at least 30 in total – depart the club.
With two rounds to play, South have won as many games as they finished with last season, albeit after being stripped of three wins for players’ points breaches.
