Irymple must bounce back

BUOYED by re-signing of star midfielder Dan Coghlan for 2018, Irymple’s focus remains on the finals race at hand.

Narrow defeats by nearest finals rivals Imperials last weekend and Robinvale/Euston, which followed a 19-point defeat by second-placed Ouyen United, have loosened the Swallows’ grip on a top-four place.

Sitting inside the top four on percentage only and with a bye to come next week, Irymple will be desperate to snap this streak of three consecutive losses against Merbein today.
