South Mildura spirit faces Ouyen United efficiency

SOUTH Mildura coach Pat Irwin is never one to shy away from the bleeding obvious.

“It will be a challenge,” Irwin said of today’s match against an in-form and near-strength Ouyen United at Underbool.

Irwin then proceeded to tick off the Kangas’ strengths – their forward line, their midfield and their defence.

Such is the size of that challenge his young charges face, even despite last week’s hard-fought win against Wentworth in a low-scoring scrap.
