Demons roll on

UNSURPRISINGLY, Mildura solidified its spot on top of the ladder in a one-sided affair at City Oval by 68 points over South Mildura on Saturday.

South’s backline was kept busy from the outset with a barrage of forward entries from Mildura, with Todd Hughes and Vinnie Tassone prominent and well aided by the support of young wingers Kofi Lord and Corey Millard.

Lord and Millard worked assiduously around the ground by running into space and also setting themselves a kick behind  play for South rebounds.

Despite these early efforts, Mildura struggled to orchestrate any shots on goal from stoppages within their half of the ground and didn’t take full advantage of the opportunities they were given.
