Points relief for Bambill

BAMBILL senior coach Darren James is hopeful the reigning Millewa Football League premiers will be able to field a full side for the rest of the season.

After the AFL Sunraysia Commission allocated two more player points to the Saints’ points cap to bring it to 36, James said this would alleviate the stress the club was under to field 22 players of a total points value of no more than 34.

“Obviously, with the player points structure at the moment we’re always on the limit of who we can play and who we can’t play on a Thursday when it comes to team selection,” James said.
