MALLEE District Aboriginal Services (MDAS) would like to see SFNL clubs take ownership of their own Indigenous Round fixtures in the future.
Following Saturday’s Indigenous Round, the third under a three-season partnership between MDAS and the SFNL, MDAS regional coordinator Nathan Yates said there was a clear plan for what the round would hold in the future.
“I think it’s about the Indigenous Round continuing for the next 5-10 years and each club taking ownership,” he said.
