
OUYEN United playing coach Andy Jardine has praised the efforts of his side after coming back from a loss to beat a Merbein outfit that was not to be under-estimated.
The Kangas were stunned at home by Imperials last week but won emphatically at Kenny Park on Saturday, led by Will Farrer’s second 13-goal haul of the season.
Farrer was the star of the show while his brother Josiah also kicked two goals – the two brothers together kicking all but four of the Kangas’ majors for the day.
