Anxious wait for McNally

IMPERIALS big man Reece McNally is in doubt for one of the club’s biggest matches of the season today against Robinvale/Euston.

The ruckman suffered a groin strain in his side’s win over Ouyen United at the weekend and was facing a fitness test overnight.

His absence would rob Imperials coach Brad Hards of a key figure in the battle against the competition’s form ruckman, Ethan Gill, with backup ruck Sam Priest also absent attending a wedding in Bali along with Mildura captain Josh Martin.

Luke Hickey has been named in the ruck and will have his work cut out for him containing a genuine star in Gill.
