Ouyen United join celebration

OUYEN United’s first SFNL Indigenous Round was acknowledged yesterday with the club receiving its guernsey for Saturday’s round.

The reigning premiers had the bye in the corresponding round in 2016, however this season are set to play Merbein at Kenny Park.

Artist Uncle Peter Peterson explained the design of the guernsey and the other eight clubs’ guernseys and netball dresses was about bringing communities together around football, as the “stomping ground”.
