Tiger Davey ready to roar

FORMER Essendon star Alwyn Davey’s move to Red Cliffs adds another former AFL player to the SFNL ranks.

The 33-year-old Northern Territorian has been cleared to the Tigers on a permit that expires in September, tying him to Quandong Park for the remainder of the season.

Davey played 100 AFL games for Essendon after being taken at pick 36 in the 2006 AFL draft, kicking 120 goals with explosive speed a feature of his game.
