MILDURA captain Josh Martin was quick to shift praise after kicking the biggest bag the Sunraysia league has seen in more than a decade against Merbein on Saturday.
Martin kicked 15.8 in the Demons’ 189-point drubbing of the Magpies at Kenny Park.
League historian Michael Cupper said former Wentworth forward Jason Bell was the previous SFNL player to boot 15, in a match against South Mildura in 2005.
