20 year real estate of mind

THE Mildura branch of real estate agency Ray White has recently marked two decades of operation.

Initially established in the Queensland town of Crows Nest in 1902, the business has since expanded to almost 1000 offices in Australia and overseas, including Mildura.

“All of Ray White is a family business, and locally the feeling is the same,” Ray White Mildura managing director Damien Portaro said.

“We try to have such an amazing culture, we work very hard but we’re also focused on being giving and caring, everyone has each other’s backs.

“We have values we live and breathe by in the office, it sounds like a line but every one of these people genuinely care for their clients, families and each other.

“We love Mildura, we love our community and the support they give us, and we’re always trying to give back as much as we humanly can.”

Associate director Brett Driscoll, who has been with the Mildura office for almost 16 years, said sustainable growth was a credit to the business’ longevity.

“We’re backed by the largest real estate brand in Australasia but that support only takes us so far, it’s important for us to get out in the community and having that equal culture helps both the customers and the staff,” he said.

Associate director Luke Hermans, clocking in at 12 years, said everything the staff do within both sales and property management sectors always has a customer first focus.

“We’ve got clients coming back to us after a previous transaction, without that kind of support from our clients and our community we wouldn’t still be here for so many years,” he said.
