A CANDIDATE running in the seat of Farrer at the May 3 national poll has announced she's "stepping back" from her campaign.

Michelle Milthorpe is stating as an independent in the Federal seat that covers most of southern New South Wales, but on Monday said the health of her father had caused her to limit campaign and pre-poll activities.
