ALMOST a month after the federal election, The Nationals candidate Anne Webster was finally declared the Member for Mallee on Saturday.
With 13 candidates – the most of any electorate in Australia – Mallee was the last seat to be formally declared.
In the final wash-up, there was a 3.56 per cent swing away from The Nationals on the two-candidate preferred basis with Labor, while overall there was a swing of just under 18 per cent away from the Coalition.
