A MOTORIST was taken to Mildura Base Public Hospital following a two-car collision at Koorlong on Friday morning.

Police said a Ford Focus sedan and Dodge RAM utility were both extensively damaged in the incident which happened about 8am.

The driver of the Ford was taken by ambulance to hospital for assessment.
