VICTORIA Police have described an unemployed father-of-three charged over a trio of alleged domestic violence incidents as having a concerning propensity for violence.

Appearing before the Mildura Magistrates' Court on Thursday, the former diesel mechanic sobbed as the prosecution read out a summary of his alleged offences.
