A MAN recorded a "monster" blood-alcohol reading of more than four times the legal limit when he was intercepted at a booze bus on the George Chaffey Bridge in September last year, a court has been told.

The Mildura Magistrates' Court heard the 51-year-old was driving over the bridge on September 29 last year and entered a breath testing station on the Victorian side of the river about 5.15pm.
