A COURT has heard a former Mildura truck driver found with more than six grams of methamphetamine in his car initially caught police attention by doing an illegal u-turn.

The Mildura Magistrates' Court heard that Bradley Golman, 29, was driving on San Mateo Avenue at about 5am on Saturday, before conducting a u-turn over a double white line.
