A MAN has briefly faced court charged over an alleged carjacking at Robinvale.

Police arrested the 30-year-old at an address in Euston on Monday before he was taken to the Broken Hill holding cells.

Police successfully applied to have the man extradited to Victoria where he faced Mildura Magistrates' Court for a filing hearing late on Tuesday.
