A CONVICTED family violence offender has committed to seek counselling for his anger and behavioural issues upon his prison release next month.

The 34-year-old was sentenced in the Wentworth Local Court on Tuesday, after he served 185 days in pre-sentence custody at the Broken Hill Correctional Centre.
