A MAN who attempted to haggle his way down to a fine for a repeat drink driving offence and failing to answer bail has been told his punishment is non-negotiable.

Safaa Sabri, 37, pleaded guilty on Monday in the Mildura Magistrates' Court.

The court heard Sabri's driver's licence had been disqualified for two years on April 19, 2023 for a drink driving offence.
