A MILDURA man who allegedly armed himself with a machete to steal a car last week has been refused bail on armed robbery and other charges.

The Mildura Magistrates' Court was told 24-year-old Jarvis Kennedy approached the alleged victim in the early hours of the morning at a Hornsey Park address while brandishing the machete and a shovel, and demanded keys to his car.
