A FORMER interstate truck driver has been convicted and fined for driving on a disqualified licence.

Simon Bruce Roberts, 50, pleaded guilty after he was caught by police on September 8.

Mildura Magistrates' Court heard that Roberts was spotted driving a Toyota HiLux on Fourteenth Street, Irymple about 12am.
