THE prime target of a covert police operation that aimed to dismantle an alleged drug trafficking syndicate has been released on bail on conditions including that he attend a drug rehabilitation facility and stays away from Mildura.

Forty-year-old Sean Curphey had twice failed in a bid to be released from custody following his arrest on drug trafficking and firearms charges in September last year.
