A MAN who behaved like a "monster" when he threatened to kill a woman and repeated the threats to police after his arrest says he was in a delusional state at the time, a court has heard.

The Mildura Magistrates' Court was told the man was under a court-imposed order not to contact the woman or go within 100 metres of her house when he pulled into her driveway and sat in his car s
