A MILDURA man who "terrorised" his former partner and tried to flee police when they attempted to arrest him has been jailed.

The man was under a court-imposed domestic violence intervention order preventing him from assaulting or threatening the 27-year-old woman, and not to stalk, harass or intimidate her or intentionally or recklessly damage property at the time of the offending.
