A MAN serving a term of imprisonment on charges of stalking and threatening to kill his partner continued to contact the woman almost daily from behind bars in breach of a court-imposed order that prevented him from doing so, the Mildura Magistrates' Court has been told.

The court heard the man made calls from inside jail to a landline which was then diverted to a mobile phone belonging to a third person who would then link the man's partner into the call.
