KILLER Paul Cohrs has been jailed for 30 years for the shooting death of his 81-year-old mother in the kitchen of her Red Cliffs home in 2018.

In sentencing Cohrs on Wednesday, Supreme Court Justice Lesley Taylor said the murder of Bette Cohrs-Schulz was planned, abhorrent and far exceeded the mid-range of seriousness for the charge of murder.
