A BODY has been found in the Murray River during a search for a missing man in Mildura.
NSW Police divers recovered the body about 1.25pm on Monday.
While the body was yet to be formally identified, it was believed to be that of the missing man.
Barrier District police were told that four men were in a dinghy about 11.30pm Saturday, heading to shore, when the boat capsized.
Police believe only three men returned to the houseboat.
About 2.40am on Sunday, emergency services were called Dockside Drive, Mildura, after the group realised the 34-year-old man was missing.
The large-scale search, led by Victoria Police and NSW Police, began with assistance from the divers.
Barrier District police will prepare a report for the coroner.
