SENDING a dozen red roses to a former flame has cost a Mildura man a date with the court and $250.
The 40-year-old, who can not be named, fronted Mildura Magistrates' Court on Tuesday and pleaded guilty to breaching a court order.
Late last year the man bought the flowers from a local florist, with an accompanying note "I miss you".
