A MILDURA man charged over two burglaries, admitted to 'wheeling and dealing' stolen items in exchange for drugs.

Fred Thorpe was sentenced to 100 hours of unpaid work after pleading guilty to multiple offences including burglary, attempted theft and possession of a controlled weapon.

In March, the 43-year-old broke into a vacant house and stole four laptops, various antiques and tools.
