TWO constables from Mildura police assisted in resuscitating a man who was pulled from the water in Mildura on Sunday night.

Police were called after the man was pulled from the Murray River about 8.45pm.

Witnesses commenced CPR on the 28-year-old Mildura man and when police arrived, the male and female constables took over.
